Celebrating National Agriculture Day and the first day of spring with Collier's green thumbs in full bloom!  Did you know Collier students plant flowers for Morganville Flower Farm in their Agriscience course? Stop by this season and grab a gorgeous arrangement crafted by our talented students!

 

Last week, Collier High School students showcased their talents at the Teen Arts Festival at Brookdale Community College, where their art was adjudicated by professionals and displayed for all to see including  painting, graphic design, drawings, inventive creations, and nail art!  They not only had their art adjudicated by professionals but also seized the opportunity to perform and receive valuable feedback on their upcoming musical performance. From solo performances to workshops in between like "Found Objects" and "Puppet Making," our students embraced every opportunity to express themselves and learn. i.t was a day brimming with learning, exploring the campus, and artistic expression, a testament to the inventive spirit of our students. We couldn't be prouder of their dedication and talent! Thank you to Teen Arts for recognizing Collier students,  huge congratulations to Liam whose art was recognized at the festival.  

 

What a day! Cosmetology seniors took on the International Beauty Show at Jacob Javits Center, NYC on March 5th. Students soaked in every moment, learning how to navigate the ferry system together, seeing live demonstrations from professionals and even speaking to product manufacturers from the beauty industry. Back in Jersey, a round table luncheon sparked insightful conversations and shared experiences where each student chose a dish to share with their peers. It was a day filled with learning, bonding, and representing the best of Collier!

 

 

Continuing to Celebrate National Social Workers Month with a spotlight on our incredible Shepherding Counselor, Sydney Houston!  From engaging in animal-assisted therapy to working to create a safe space for our students struggling with school avoidance, Sydney goes above and beyond to ensure every Collier student feels supported and valued in the shepherding program. Thank you, Sydney, for your tireless efforts in making a difference in our students' lives!

98 Collier HS Students were recognized for their achievements of honor roll and principal's list from first and second marking period and celebrated with a delicious breakfast generously donated by Wegmans! Thank you Wegmans for helping us honor our students for their incredible academic achievement!  We're immensely proud of our students' dedication to their personal educational goals.
